I have just bought one of these on a N plate Lowered on 17"s Full stainless system , etc etc , What are ppl's opinions on these? Noticed a few ppl on here have had them. Quite nippy as well , Any 1 recomend any mods for them? 17"s will be getting sold for some 16"s / 15"'s Pics will be up soon

Pretty quick and handle well.

But they are french so build is crap

My mate had one. Seemed an allrite car, don't like the dash at all!

They are poop in a smash. He had his for 4 hours and hit a tree, broke both legs and a hip.

I've had two clio mk1's, werent valvers but still handle fairly well when lowered on 15's

I did also have a Vts a few months back and i would say this is far better!!in every way , fair enough my vts was a bit rough though.

Gearbox will break & sunroof will leak - there standard features of this particular model!!

My mates had 17's on it.

He said it handled a bbit shit with them on. He took them off after the drive home and put on some 15's. Said it was a lot better.

Still hit a tree though.......

I think his was about 150BHP. Had headwork and exhaust, some other bits.

yep 138 brake standard, good handling cars as said the g/box will smash and electrics are suspect. I'd have one for the right money if ti was clean

Yeah deffo fancy some 15 / 16"s on it . Seen a few turbo'd ones on cliosport , Costs abvout £2.5k there abouts , gives about 200bhp , dunno what would be more fun , building another corsa turbo(which was fun for the short time i had it ) or turbo the clio ? any1 ever came across a turbo'd 1 ?

Wrong VTS is slower, a standard clio vs Shitron Clio should win.

But all depends on the driver and condition of car really.

I've had my clio for 5 years and it's been good to me.. apart from the 3 g/box's i 've had but that goes with my driving....

Cool . whats done to yours m8? any gen on turbo'd ones? can you t/b them? all new to this clio stuff lol (And soz this is a corsa site but do know ppl have them on here lol and i do miss my corsa Turbo )

I had a play with my mates clio in my 20xe corsa and there wasnt alot of difference really......which p*ssed me off

IMO id say buy one as they are a cheap way of goin quick.

My mate has an 1.8 rsi which he got for £1100. Nothing has gone wrong with it and he drives it hard.

you can pretty much do any thing to then, the best this is a megan 2.ol bottom end with cams and chip that will see some good gains !
