how come saxo vts's r so fucking quick compared to vauxhall 1616v, my mate has got 1, fair enough its quite highly modded with manifold, decat, cams and a air dam. his totally kicks my corsas arse n mines 20.16v running 186 bhp. leaves me 4 dust man. his goes off the clock at 145 and its limited to that by the gearbox im frieghtened to think wot its going to do when the gets the new gearbox put it, + he's got a dastek with a higher rev limit and it hasnt even been remaped yet. im goin to have to do sumthing drastick to even get close any ideas. dont say buy an evo.

sounds more like your corsa isnt running right...

but then again, saxo's weigh much less, so unless yours has silly big wheels and big install, he shouldnt be able to beat you still

your XE gets beaten by a VTS?
mine used to happily pull pass a GTI which had manifold, decat, cams and a air dam.

i think your car is fucked, or your 186bhp is a bit optimistic.

Ian meant lose some weight from the car

17s slow it down, ICE slows it down too, its gonna be a hell of a lot quicker if its got nothing heavy in it

its all about the power to weight ratio

10bhp extra on yours isnt anywhere near as effective as 10bhp on his
