Im a bit pished off atm,
Wore my 'nice' watch out today, and nearly damaged it three times. Every time I though to myself 'you muppet, get a cheaper watch for work'
Im not going to go (too) mad...upto say £500
I know this has been done before but the last time nothing took my fancy.
Any ideas gents/ladies?
Pics would be appreciated...plastic is a no no btw

Or a sieko kinetic.
I have one of them for my everyday watch.
Not mechanical but uses a Mechanical rotor for charging the cell.

Buy most clothing related stuff there (esp work clothes) as they are decent and so is the price

Although i'm not a fan of too many dials on the face.

Oris were the 1st people ever to do a pointer date iirc.

Good thing with oris is they cater for just about everything.
The jazz styled watched are quite nice, miles and sinatra ranges, but again not to my taste.

Have you looked at the sieko spring drive watches.
They have a movement that won timezones movement of the year last year.
Revolutionary movement that combines the best parts of mechanical and quartz.

I considered a TAG....dunno why i didnt like it.....seems to me the bezel looked a bit 'plastic' and the strap was too small.I may well try one on and look see then.
God i would like an Oris. But the ones i like are nearer 2k, and i cant justify that as it would cost nearly us much as my 'nice' watch
Ive been linked this

Seemes cheap as chips and looks well nice to me
what you reckon?

Whats one of the oris' you like and i'll see if it's available for less than 2k.
IWC are nice but will be well over budget.
Tag you're paying for the name.
Especially in the quartz watches.

old tag, i'd agree. i had the last f1 and the bezel actually was plastic but this one feels like its worth more than in cost

its always good to have a fancy watch to impress the ladies, only ever met one girl who knew what a tag was, and that was only because she had one which cost 3 times as much as mine

My Hugo Boss dress watch. Got it for my 21st. Don't have an everyday watch, rather not know the time whilst i'm at work, i'd be looking at my watch every 2 mins.
