Berlusconi lost He's demanding a recount, due to irregularities with the over seas voters, (i.e. me )
Looks like Milan won't be winning anything anymore

He's a fcuking nazi anyway!
BTW have you done/will you do your Italian national army service? Or will you claim to be a UK citizen like my two other "proud to be Italian" friends? The ones that will swear they are Italian until they are azzuri blue in the face, of course until it comes to being in the Italian army for a little bit.........

National Service is not an obligation anymore. I would have done it if it was still compulsary. However if I was to go back to Italy, and the officials found out, I would be given the option to complete it

Daft question time.
If you live in England, how come you can vote in Italian elections? Also, were you actually born in Italy or in England?

at the end of the day Im Italian, and i have family that live there, so when there is always the chance of my family here returning to italy to live, I have a right to have a vote to decide what goes on there.

That is just plain crazy .... you can vote in a country you don't live in, and may never live in, but you can't vote in a country you were born in and live in

No.
Why are you rolling your eyes? If you are born and raised in a country, no matter where your parents are from you obtain the naitionality?
Is this not correcT?

Prodi decalred winner of the election but Berlusconi disputes, and also Prodi rejects Berlusconi's offer of a Coilition Government.

If a party won an election by 2 seats, do you think it would be better to have a re-count or a re-vote? or do you think a coilition government would be more suitable? or would you think the winner is the winner, nothing more needed
