i hav a 1.4 8v corsa and was wondering if the nova 1.4 sr gearbox would fit and also if any1 has had one done be4?

It will fit but its not the same ratios as your Corsa F13, the Nova has a F10CR.

so it wouldnt be any gud if i did do it? if not got any ideas on gaining more speed from my 1.4 8v

if your after acceleratin i think you need a 4.18 final drive from an early 1.3sr
I could be talking shoot though!!

I had a 418fd f13 in my old nova, made it alot nippier. Acutally i was looking in a scrappy and found a f13 W 4.18 from a 8v 1.4 facelift corsa, just goes to show the mix and match vauxhall done.

if you could get a hold of a vauxhall extremely rare cwp 4.53 and put that on a f13 W 5 speed box you'd feel that you have loads of power. Who care's about top speed in a 1.2/1.4 8v anyway, you'd still be able to get nearly 100 mph in 5th. Not that you'd want ot break the law or anything lol
