Does anyone ever just feel like they've had enough of everything, job, missus, friends, lifestyle...?

I fancy a total overhaul

Totally fancy a change of direction as far as work goes, missus bores me these days, certain mates i wouldn't miss.

i want to find a career i will be able to apply myself at and start bringing in some money. One that doesn't totally dominate my life. I would be happy then.

I think the worst bit is that I really don't know what it is I actually want.

A career that you really do actually enjoy doing, that you actually want to get up for every morning, well payed so you don't struggle for money, and a nice girlfriend that doesn't cause you any stress or grief. In the ideal world.

trust me its not, work hard at what you've got instead of giving up and things will get better

I have a nice girlfriend who asks for nothing, gives everything and loves me to death, but for some reason I don't want her anymore. Was discussing this with Tom yesterday

Yes I've felt like this for the past few weeks. Split up with GF, getting bored of work, get paid fuck all, my part time college work is getting on top of me, some of my mates are not really acting like my mates!
Going to the doctors tonight after work as I cant sleep properly and feel like crap.

I'm sure everything will work out eventually though

Its because you have settled down, and maybe you want something different? I don't know, girlfriends will never ever be straight forward.
