since december 2005 i have been employed (ive always been self employed and had my own company). During the last 4 months i have been charged shedloads of tax and im due a tax rebate. Ive been told to actually ask the inland revenue for the rebate rather than waiting for it but ive not found any info on doing this. When i was self employed I would fill out a tax return and get any rebate i was owed within weeks, but apparently the IR will take months to sort it out for employed people.

How do I get my money back from them quickly?

dno but i got taxed £365 last month i was shocked

ring them and ask them about it there is a number somewhere on there site

thats what i did last time i was paying too much

Go to your local tax office with your P60 and they'll do the rest! Takes a few weeks though!

I wish

I paid £1973 in tax last month

Just been looking on the IR site, using their tax rebate calculator im owed £2654. not all bad then. just need to get it back off them now, robbing bastarts
