Last saturday i bought a Vauxhall Corsa Sri 1.4 16v to do as my project. The car required a sump and a engine mount as he hit a speed hump with it and couldnt be asked. the car has been lowered 60mm.

I changed the sump, i did the engine mount and put oil and i though it was ready to go, but ! It turns over fine and nearly started at one point but didnt quite

i wire brushed the top of the spark plugs and put them back in again and still no starting

Des anyone have any suggestions?

The engine light shows on dash also but that was only due to hitting the sump and can be reset.

why would an engine light show for a hit sump



was the engine empty of oil?
Is it getting fuel, is it sparking?

Dont know maybe becouse the sump was tottaly wrecked and oil was leaking?? its getting fuel and shud be sparking, it wouldnt turn over if the engine was knakerd would it?

Yes the engine was empty of oil
