Im wanting to do a pretty good service on my car 2moro, what should i check/replace/clean in your opinion?

air filter, oil filter, spark plugs and leads?

check oil, water and brake fluid, top up if needs be?

Brakes, brake lines and brake fluid.
wheel nuts.
water levels/window washer.
oil.
spark plugs.
tire tread.

god i cant think.

Edit: Do what i do and use an old MOT sheet of things they check for that and do the faulty things first. check exhaust pipes too.

should i drain old oil and fill it with new oil?

Engine wise just change, Oil and oil filter, air filter, plugs, check brake fluid (change if you want/can) check coolant level. Make sure cambelt doesnt need doing. Thats pretty much it on the engine and just give the rest a good check round, take rear drums off, check front brakes.

If you get a haynes manual it will tell you all that they do check in an MOT , so go by that as well

lol, i think that would be a good idea. No point draining the new oil and filling it with old oil eh?
