Had an assignment to style a boat around the form of a car of our choice - I chose the Ariel Atom as it's basically the most radical/identifiable looking car on the market ( most people chose focus', Jags, Lambos etc)
anyway here is the 3D design (Rhino & Flamingo Render) - just got the 2D plans of the interior and ergonomic design to do

What do you think?

Must be the season for it, I'm doing a police pursuit car for my finals
Boat looks ace, would be good to do a render of a dock with my car and your boat

Mine's not finished yet anyway, still modelling. Might drop you a u2u later on and have a go in max, just for kicks.

Rhino 3D modelling and Flamingo Renderer
Used AutoCad to get the profile view of the boat before 3D modelling it
Trying to teach myself 3DS Max, C4D and UniGraphics now though

? I got a copy through uni
Rhino's a good cheap package - its about £150 which for a 3D Modelling package is really good - 3DS Max runs into £000s for a professional package

Rhino not too bad actually - but whatever program you use there are hundreds of tutorials online - one good site is pixel2life.com

there are 3" less than a standard head height over 3/4 of the cell - so theres only a small amount of the cell in which prisoners can stand - also designed the seats in such a way as they can't be used to lie down on - to many lumps, bumps and sharp parts
