nope, in fact they might do that way they can check if the mileage is legit

the car isn't stationary. it's on rollers to do brake testing.

but they don't care about speedo.
look at an old test sheet for the things they check.

speedo is listed, but only relevant to motorbikes iirc.

mine passed without a speedo last year anyway

Mine has passed loads of times with no speedo. Only got it working since the last test

used to do MOT's when at nissan, speedo aint part of the MOT except millage but even then if its the same millage as last time there not going to know unless you take the old test certificate with you

they dont check the mileage is legit either wether or not uve got the old ticket, wot has a dodgy mileage got 2 do wiv the car being road safe? nout

You don't even need a speedo... They are just a usefull thing to have
