If i were sending wheels and tyres, i would send on a pallet.

Probably loads cheaper, and safer too.

loads of threads on this.....do a search..

Bubble wrap and wrap in black bags....Phone courier to pick up and deliver....simple..

I have sent a few sets and never had a problem, never used a pallet either..

If 17's and tyres will be about £40-£50

pallet price will be more as they will base the price on a whole pallet not just the items on the pallet.

Just make sure they are very distinctive and you can tell they are together

Pallet prices are based on weight, not size. I still say it's cheaper to palletise.

as above. Cardboard over the rim, with bubble wrap aswell. Then black bag over them. Label each wheel with the address (and return address) aswell as 1 of 4, etc.

I did this with UPS and had no problems.
