I've been without my car before, its shit. Saves me money but cant cope with getting on a shitty bus to go to work and not being able to go where I want, when I want. And I like driving

Public transport sucks around my way and i find it hard to be without a car for everyday use such as college and work, it would be intresting to see how much money could be saved without having any car what so ever

You are saving £600-£700 a month by not having a car
You must of been going through Optimax like it was going out of fashion

Having mine off the road has saved me a fair amount. Not least the £600-odd quid it would have cost to keep it in the secure car park here. Plus, DirectLine had a fit when I tried to get a quote for keeping it in an M1 postcode.
