Hi

(I have a Corsa SXi 1.2)

I have noticed my rear silencer has a hole (if it doesnt have a hole its very close to having a hole).

They mentioned something about exhaust on the MOT but it was not bad enough to fail.

I assume i can just buy a rear silencer and tailpipe. I have also read it sometimes best to just get a complete new exhaust system.

How much would this cost about to replace it and how much to get a sport exhaust??

just get a new backbox?

price depends on off the shelf or custom.

why replace both if your centre section is fine

Get a Sebring stainless twin 3" round backbox.

the backbox is another name for the silencer box then

does the backbox include tailpipe?

how much for off the shelf - i would need to get it fitted so would be going to local garage but just want to know approximate price

backbox = rear silencer and tailpipe. Will cost between £100 and £150 off the shelf.

can get cheaper if you get original equipment parts or mild steel aftermarket.
