yeah there is but its not to bad andy and as mark has said they are strict on the noise limits so dnt know wot a few cars would be like!!

well i know mine is about 101db as i got tld to get off donnington the other month they let me back on for the next session i just had to make sure i didnt full throttle it down the start line to avoid the sound meter

u should here mine then cos its rather a bit louder than urs!!!
but so hard not to use the throttle cos the noise is amazing from the carbs!

lucky git i cant wait to hear the chevette start up with the bike carbs not long now tho if im lucky ill have it done in a few weeks

im on a full 3' exhaust system from turbo back with just a back box in. safe to say i wont pass the db level. count me out

6th May is £99 for sessions....and quite a lot of bookings on it already

to be fair,there strict but at track days Ive been to,but theyll either tell you not to hammer your car near the noise meter,or let you off and tell you to sort it out for next time and then if the worse comes to the worse brings some socks

If it's in May and in Scotland i'll go. Would travel to England but unaware of costs of trailer higher etc... maybe something to look into to.

Its in york which is in England
There's a trailer hire place in Livingston which are good...really friendly
They need a £200 deposit, which is repaid once you return the trailer, but only something like £40 a day for hire

i was just about to say count me in on this, but realised its in york which is quite frankly too far away from me, im in plymouth (south west) and elvington is well over 300miles away from me... no cahnce id be driving all day up there only to race round a track half asleep lol, then drive home again lol. if anyone is planning anyhting abit closer ill defo be up for it, would drive prob upto maybe over 150miles.... chris
