I am going to put a 2.0 8v into my 1.4 spi in the next few week, just after a bit of knowledge from you guys.

Which engine mounts?

Do i use corsa gsi driveshafts wiv cav mk2 inner cv's?

Is the wiring similar to the 16v conversion or is it different

everything as per 2.0 16v conversion, less powercap

corsa gsi (22 splines on the inner end) and cav mk2 1.6 8v inner cv joints (TDL3051)

Then get some 45mm carbs on it

Cheers for clearing that up, where would i get a front engine mount to fit the 2.0 8v engine then?

why not do a 16v conversion?
