I have a friend who drives an astra mark 4 estate with no interior and just a driver's seat to work and back everyday, no-one will want to nick it, sounds raw!
What consequences are there?

you removed the heaters? If not, why will it be colder?
You hear all the stones hitting the floor, arches..... the noise of the road/engine echo's inside...
I like it just for the weight saving..... If it was my daily (not that i have such a thing ) i'd prefer a bit of comfort! Liek my Range <sofa> Rover

Havent removed the heaters, just guessed there would be less insulation. Rear is already completely stripped.
One more question, when you completely strip the car, do you sand and prime the floor yourself and then get a bodyshop to spray it back up or do it yourself with spray cans. My rear has a few spots or surface rust which could do with sorting.

I'd keep the carpet For the sake of the little bit of weight that it is!
Merely for the fact I can imagine it being horrible if you get wet feet.

mine was too noisy butt plug, got all my standard interior back in
standard seats make your car feel like it handles like a sack of shoot compared to how buckets make it feel

i was driving my stripped car everyday till i got a company car
... was loving it. yeah it's a bit more noisy because you get lots of road noise and hear things pinging off the underside of the car. don't think it's any colder and i use mats too.
just strip it, you'll have no problems with it as a daily driver

It can get annoying when you wanna just listen to the radio. but when you give it some death it makes the whole experience alot more raw! makes your car feel alot quicker
