A guy from work yesterday went out for lunch to Maccy D's... He was driving back and hit a drain cover, his car skiided across the road and smashed into a tree on the other side. (Luckly, maybe?) he was thrown out of the car through a window apparently because he wasn't wearing a belt. He has broken both of his arms, smashed up his pelvis and is really cut up. I think the guy is lucky to be alive. They suspected brain damage too as there was so much blood coming out of his head and ears, the CT scan showed otherwise.

The thing is, the other person in the car was wearing a belt, she is a bit bruised up, but walked away from the scene.

Think safe guys, belt up and don't drive like a tit.

indeed!

amount of times I see people not wearing a seatbelt... and I just think... they only need to hit something at like 10mph and even then it can be near fatal!

i always wear a seatbelt, and when I used to have an interior, I always made sure people in the back were belted up too...

Yea i just think that if you dont want to wear a seat belt then thats you decision but a young child cant decide to put their own seatbelt on and it could cost them their life

Just realised how stupid that looks, i'll rephrase it.

Not wearing a seatbelt feels weird and only takes 5 seconds max to put on...why not?

One of my friends Dad is a copper. He was telling me the other day that he pulled some woman over who wasn't wearing a seatbelt, neither were the 3 kids she had in the car and the icing on the cake was that she was on her mobile as well What is it with some people

She'll learn when she crashes. All her children die and she lives.
