well last 2 days have been good, thursday i got my new wheels, thursday night/evening i saw this ford fiesta 1.25zetec 05 plate, car d write off but all work done apart from requiring a ecu for engine!!! all bodywork fitted just needs finshing off which is ideal for me........... and 1600miles!!!!!!!!!

it basically a new car, after few emails and phone calls, we went and picked it up last night, its betta than i expected and it like new, cant tell where its been damaged, no chassis damage, no dodge inner wing etc, its all been done!!! just needs painting, one new wheels!!!

turns out its 8 months old

and we got it for £2700!!!!!!!!

because mum does not change her car for about 8years may aswell save money on buying the car cat d car cos it wont be worth anything after 8years anyway!!! so ideal for mum

total bargin if u ask me, its will be like a new car with 1.6k miles on the clock and now has Ztec front bumper with spots in, even came with the paint to paint it, just needs ecu which if we have to go to FORD will be £450 tops with re programming!

here are some quick pics, can c how clean it is underneath, just dusty!!

mum quite fancys doing it up a little to make it look bit sporter!!!

wot do u guys think???

my idea was, colour code it all, little spoiler, ford imperial blue and 17s, and lower it!! still practical but will look nice!!

or mum also wud quite fancy some kind of flip paint on it, or a custom pearl similar to my orange corsa i had!!!!

kind of seems a shame to paint the car when its soooooo clean and new!!!

so on other hand do we just paint it up and leave it standard and maybe just put alloys on it!!

Top bargain Mr. Corsa.

Seems amazingly cheap for an 8 month old car.

Any idea what book value is on an undamaged one, and what it would have cost new?

I think you should use the paint you've got and save a few quid.

Waste not want not and all that.

Maybe a nice set of wheels, but would keep standard ride height as comfier for your Mumsy and more practical on sh*t roads.

Also, 8 years can fly by very quick, and car will be worth more and easier to sell if clean and standard/unmolested rather than decked on huge wheels with non factory paint.

just front bumper to sort........so flimsy!!!

If you have the paint just use that, its not a bad colour, and for a car thats only a few months old seems silly repainting the whole thing!

Then get some alloys, maybe 16? better ride, some good springs and away you go!
