The people who go in for trials give their consent, so I don't see why it's a issue. They know the risks.

Testing on animals is in a way pointless because humans and animals dont react the same way but the recent test for the anti inflammitory drug was tested on animals and a dog died but tests were still carried out on humans

Some people are so stupid. The run around saying that testing on animals is bad. Yet given the first chance they go was thier hair with shampoos, wash thier skin with soaps, take tablets, have medicine. The world relies on animal testing and untill people decide that you don't want to take advantage of almost every medical advance ever they should STFU.

I dont have a problem with it, animals are there for 2 reasons (3 reasons if your welsh!)...to eat and to test stuff on so we dont have to. Without animal testing we wouldnt have half the drugs we have today.

well they don't give you cash and nor do they use money transfers to your account so they give you a cheque at the end of the trial.

£2-3k normally. I work for a pharma company, we spend £3million on research every day. In the scheme of things, £3k is fuck all!
