sold an item on ebay at a stupid time last night, for less thn what its worth cos it ended real l8, but now i got email off buyer today sayin
"hi there i shall make a payment on wednesday next week just waiting 2
paypal 2 sort my account out"
Thinkin now I may aswell just relist and end at a normal time, I typred the following email to idiot buyer:
Sorry I cant wait that long as Im away for 2weeks next week. I did state that payment must be received within 5 days of auction end.
What else should I put?

say if he can't pay within 5 days then you will relist it

Yeah just relist after 5 days are up as long as your ad stated the fact it had to be paid by then.

thats abit harsh, he said he can't pay untill wednesday and you've told him he has to pay by tuesday otherwise you will relist.
Just remember they could turn around and spite you with negative feedback

spose but just pisses me off when u sell an item and get told nearly a week til payment,could get neg feedbk removed plus i have over 200 he has 10 so he will get one back.

even when you have negative feedback removed it means you dont have 100% anymore it'll show as 99.8%.
Just ask for a postal order, will take 2 days

Not true, i had a negative mutually withdrawn and my feedback went back upto 100%

sent him another askin if can pay by Personal cheque
Postal Order or Banker's Draft
forgot about it still taking your precentage from last time I had one removed.

I have 98.6 and says 3negs yet I have only ever had 2, and one removed. it did affect mine, maybe its ebay choice when they remove it?

its normally only when someone asks for it to be removed.
When people pay you via paypal do you wait for it to clear into your bank account first before you send the item?

if you had got what you wanted for the item you wouldnt be bothered about waiting till wed for payment.
tell him to send a postal order if it bothers you that much, it seems like you didnt get what you wanted for the item and are looking for a reason to re-list it.
you should have put a reserve on the item to begin with.
saying you will re-list becasue hes paying 1 day late, even though hes informaed you of his situation just seems spitefull.

If i bought something on ebay i would make sure i was able to pay straight away if it was through pay pal
