this is why I never understand why the English are always known as the hooligans when Italians are 10x worse. If I ever went to watch Liverpool in Italy (very possible) I would never stay with the crowds in the centre of the city as you know trouble will always happen.

its been a long time since Ive seen any major fighting at a football match, the English game is really getting a hell of alot better but we've still got a bad name with other countries which makes their policing of us worse and then we get worse!

I went to see Milan v Chelsea in Milan and it was fine, we stayed in the city centre drinking all day and everyone seemed great. All the Inter fans where cheering us on and the Milan fans were having a giggle.

We got coins thrown at us during the game and had to stay behind for over 1hr 30 mins after the final whistle as the fans started giving us death threats (pretending to cut our heads off) but other than that it was fine.

Must admit I did get scared when the police randomly fire their guns in the air

no problems at Lincoln any more, mainly as the LTE have disbanded.

In the 80's and 90's, the LTE were one of the biggest groups in the country believe it or not.

It all kicked off a few years ago again and got really bad, but they disbanded last season.

Three Middlesbrough fans have been stabbed and injured after trouble erupted in Rome before the club's Uefa Cup clash with Roma.

Several other fans were also injured as a group of visiting supporters were attacked in the Italian capital on Tuesday night.

Now personally i feel so disgusted by this - after the reception they were given in england no trouble etc

The attack was from a group of 50-60 roma fans - fully armed with knifes/hammers/flaires etc

Boro fans were located in two pubs having a good time, when the roma fans attacked by throwing flares etc at them - the police did nowt stood back and watched - once it settled they then decided to get in and also attack the boro fans.

If this happened in england we would be getting thrown out the cup etc - seems like one rule for us and another for every1 else

boro's fans record in uefa speaks for its self - no problems where ever we have been and well accepted everywhere - and have had many places comment on ho well behaved the boro fans where.

you only have to look at english fans in general to know what they are like. im doing this on the evidence when i went to see an england match up north, when i went to west ham, and when west ham came here, it was shocking. they go in a pub and treat it like its their own.

and anyway i really doubt the police stood by and watch.

i do actually believe these comments - when they have been made by many people who were there and also by reporters caught up in the trouble

you would, you are biasd, listening to biased views

i do! look how they do abroad when things kick off. I was at euro 2000 and 2004, and in 2000, they stood back and watched until they decided they would go in with their battons.
