Does it seem like whenever the US has economic/domestic difficulties, the Government in power creates/allows a world situation that diverts attention from the fact that the US politicos have been progressively centralizing power and depriving citizens of personal choices by diminishing states' rights and control-one of the greatest concerns of Thomas Jefferson? FDR knew about Pearl Harbour and we are just learning the GW's people had access to 9-11 related information for a long time. Was the World Trade Centre the "sacrifice" to allow us to go after the enemies of our friends.
