I'm meant to be doing work. This question comes from the other day when i was hoping someone would crash into me and then i couldn't get rid of my car but without losing out financially, then i thought about the above question!

there is a company called MIB (men in black?) that deals with uninsured drivers, although the excess is quite high iirc.

yeah have to claim off your own, happened to me, luckily they didnt do much damage so i left it, they were driving a stolen car caught the rear corner of my corsa a glancing blow which sent them into a lorry and split the tanks, they just scarpered, eventually they caught them and i went to court where i couldve requested compensation for the damages but as there wasnt really anything i just left it
