Which would you choose?
Both 6 Cylinders.
Merc CLK convertible or BMW 3 series convertible (around 11k budget)

So it would be an e36 vert you could probably get an m3 vert for 11k.

My mum has both the 330 conv and CLK 55 conv, best car engine wise is def the CLK (obviously) but generally build wise and driving its the Merc again as so much quieter (BM sounds so loud with the roof up and I dont mean the engine!!)

CLK. BMW's are too common, plus everyone will assume you have a small penis. Plus, they don't come with indicators

As I see it, Mercs are generally a bit more old mannish and the BMW's more rep mobile. Having said that, i'd still go for the CLK as they're a bit less common and fantastic to drive.

E36 vert with hardtop is pure sex!
I would deffo go with one of those!
Tbh mate this isnt really the sort of place to be posting this question as probably 80% of people on here dont have experience of these sorts of cars.

Mercs are much nicer than BMWs IMO.
Would have an Audi over either of them though

I had a W202 C180 (old shape) about two years ago. I've also briefly driven my mums previous ones W202 C180, W203 C180 (current shape) and I regularly drive a W203 270CDI, which goes like the clappers and is really comfortable and smooth.

Audi A4/A6/A8 should of been an option there really.
Audis/VW > All other german cars
