Jon - blueflame sell on ebay!

They have a good reputation muc much better than that of powerflow.

I would personally steer clear of them with prices like that

My Dad had a Powerflow cat back system made up for his 200 BRM last summer.

It cost him about 300 quid if I remember correctly.
It's stainless, it came with a lifetime guarantee and is a bespoke item manufactured on the car with jigs etc so fits perfectly.
They gave him the option of just about any tail pipe.
He went for a rounded letterbox jobbie that fits the void in the bumper perfectly.

It sounds great, a bit like an RC40 centre exit on a Mini Cooper, only a bit louder, and it has got louder over the past few months.

It's a little bit noisy for long motorway journeys, but that doesn't seem to bother him.

You can have the pipe tuned noise levelwise to your requirements whilst it's being made, and you can always have an extra box fitted at a later date if you go for loud and then get fed up with it.

It has made a noticeable difference. The car feels more eager in 1st and 2nd now and seems to rev more freely.

Yes it was, major issues getting it to sit as high, had to cut lots of bodywork out to get it to fit in the bumper like it does!

His was fitted at RSR Tyres in Bromley in Kent/SE London.

I had a look underneath, and would have to say that the quality of fabrication and fit was indistinguishable from the Mongoose on my turbo or the factory stainless on my V8.

I was pleasantly surprised by the standard.

He uses the car every day and has had no problems with the new exhaust.

The fella that did the fabrication took his time and didn't rush it either, and worked on it continuously from start to finish while my Dad waited.

It took just over four hours, if I remember correctly.

its true , depends on the dealer , when i had my first one put on it was very poor , that was from the dealer in crewe , the one i have currently however is excellent . On the receipt it says the exaust cost £350 for a full ss system with dual 3" exits .

I paid £330 for a cat-back s/s system for my Astra, and £117.50 for a new cat.

Meow etc.
