Well, I had the day off today, so gave the car a bit of a clean off and decided to try and get some proper photos of it now it has been lowered.

Its only lowered -35mm but the looks are improved, and handling is a hell of a lot better imo too!

Recently had MOT and had to have chassis welding though Various plans including backbox, Post 97 bumpers, Respray of dodgy paint areas, Smoked Lights, Debadged Grille and also, later in the year, a new 1.2 engine with 5 speed box (mines on 128,100 atm!) were all planned, but, the money side of things on the MOT made me rethink all this - Im probably gonna shift this soon, and go for a Corsa C 1.2 SXi

Anyway, on with the Pics!

Doesn't look very low TBH, If I was gonna spend money lowering a car I would go for a noticable drop.

Its far lower than it was though! Just look im my garage if you dont believe me! I went for -35 as I didnt want to go stupidly low for 2 main reasons - 1) The wank roads around here, and 2) The fact that I quite often have 5 people in my car! Need to get the exhaust rubbers/mounts tightened up aswel, as it knocks really badly on the rear beam atm

Cheers Phil

Steelies and 4x4 suspension will probably be back on when I sell it

And I want a C! They don't need a huge amount doing to them, it should last me for a long time, and the spec is good! Plus I cant find a single 1.2 Corsa B SXi around anywhere near me!

Well if I was gonna keep the car for longer, I would probably get new wheels and got -40mm, but even atm its only just practical, potholes and speedhumps around here are all over the place - I keep scraping mudflaps etc already! But there you go, I wont have this for a huge amount of time now I'd have thought, so I'll keep it as it is for the moment

That would be the welding! Bastard MOT took me by suprise so much - I really didnt think it was that bad - but because of that, all other plans for it have been cancelled, and I also have gone off the car!

it's got alloys

Looks better mate but i think due to the 14" alloys on it makes it look higher..60mm would be good on 14's...

getting there though, don't get disheartened just because mot..

Cause you have 17s though mate, with 16's my tyres sat up in the arch, with my 15s arch sits slightly higher.
