Ok, i've been playin with this idea for a while now and been thinkin about seeling my car, as i have kinda grown out of how heavily modified it is, and buying an XE corsa. Just one with 16's and post 97 bumpers. Sumthin standard lookin but quick, more practical etc. Plus my car is probably worth a little bit more than most XE corsa's

What do peeps think?

Plenty of white ones about as I found, was after a white C16 but most of them are XE's these days! White is the best colour for GSI's. Black wheels and carbon bonnet are lush lush lush

I'd buy an XE engine, get it rebuilt and put it in yours. Might be a bit more hassle and money in the short term but at least then you know everything thats been done to it and also get to keep your car cos it looks great!

I dont think I would buy a car that had an engine conversion done allready. You dont know the history of it apart from what the owner tells you he has done

get an xe or let and put it in your car.

your car isnt OTT on the modified side, doesnt look chavvy, looks subtle and smart, xe or let will defo finish it off.

i have to disagree. assuming its a 1.2 its a better selling rate for younger people. parents could approve of this corsa as its tidy
