Ive been a young apprentice for a couple of months at CMS Vauxhall, been going brilliant and i get on with all the mechanics, I settled in well and everythings been running smoothly untill today,1 of the mechanics was trying to reverse out and there was a corsa in the way, it was still running and he asked me to move it, so i jumped in and let the handbrake off and was planning on pushing it forwardbut it suddenly jolted forward and crashed into this chemical cleaner, smashed the front end of the car, i think it just needs a bonnet and bumper and headlight, this chemical cleaner was pissin out all over the floor. someone had left the car in gear, well D (Automatic) and jus pulled up the handbrake, i shit myself  the car was pulled out and i put granuals down and swepts up the spillage, i was thinking i was going to have a hefty sum to pay or i was gona be sacked, but i got let off, the gaffer said to me it wasnt my fault the car should of been in gear and also i quote "Shit Happens"....

Annoying when folk leave there cars in gear, I spanked the accountants car off the fence at work once & bit my lip about it

lol it was kind of hard not to say anything cuz the was a loud bang and the whole garage seemed to just stop and look at me  half of them were pissin them selves of laughter

i hate the car left in gear
nearly every customers car i deal with is always in gear thou

when i was an apprentice for w j kings, my supervisior took all the oil out of the engine and took the air filter off for some reason. but still to this day, i dont know why..... i turned the car on
supervisor never shouted so loud "turn that fucking car off" almost cost the company a new engine

lol we learn by our mistakes, now im never going to let off the hand brake without checking its in neutral or the engine isnt running
