Having major difficultly finding a white Corsa that aint a diesel for a Redtop conversion and its doing my tits in.

Is a 1.5d an ok base car? Take it I would need to switch the tank for a petrol one, any probs with the wiring or anything? Anyone help?

Not where I live mate.

I know the mounts are going to be different but I'm wondering if I the diesel mounts are different from a 1.2 or 1.4 8v / 16v say?

Anyone else?

ye the driver side sits miles out of where it should be.



sit way back up the chass leg.
needs cutting off and moving forward rewelding.

They are some wiring problems well, but can not remember what......

ye can be done.
i have done 2 now on Diesal base cars.
Also the Bucket was a 1.5TD to start with.

just a few after bits needed, the money you save on buying a Diesal shell you spend converting it

i have not yet Adam. I may need to pay a visit. Its just a pain getting time off work and that.

Want to get something this weekend. Frustrating me having an engine sitting but nothing to put it in. A getting beaten off a Micro tonight when tried to overtake it in my Vectra was the final straw.

i got mine (avatar) for 700.... V reg 35k miles or so
