clutch kit about £75 genuine, bout £10 for gear oil and 3.5 to 4 hours labour, so would say about £200 plus vat

mine was £200 that was on a 1 ltr, wouldn't say it'd be more than £200 though

remember though, its an engine out job with a x16xe.
Ive got a helix competition clutch and 6kg flywheel here if you are interested? or if you prefer i can supply you with a sachs uprated clutch for a good price u2u me for details

if you get the engine at enough of an angle the box can be removed but to do this all 3 mounts need to be un-done.

Gearbox needs to come off for a clutch change then ? Is it not just the bell housing ?

gearbox is part of the bellhousing.
