Ello
I have the chance soon to move out of home and get a house with 2 of my mates.
Or save a few more pennies and get a Lexus IS200 (have wanted one for a while now)
Only thing is.. my home life is great. No problems, get on really well with family and can come and go as i please. Even dont get bothered if i bring random ladies home...
What you think i should do ?? Cos i cant think right now

Depends how long your keeping the lexus for
If your keeping it short term stay home, sell up 6-12 months then get a house
Otherwise i'd enjoy the money as once you move out its a whole different story

Stay at home if your happy there, living with mates can not be as great as you think if there are arguments or someone doesnt pull their weight.
Keep saving your pennies and if the time comes that you want to move out then get your own place but if the car is what you have been heading towards then splash out and get it.

how trust worthy are your mates with money and keeping the place decent? How long would it be until you move out if you went for the car? How little cash would you have if you moved out?
Things I'd consider!

Stay at home.
Mates will get annoying after a while. Besides when you dont live at home your expenditure goes up drasticly!!!

They are pretty good mates, good with their money and all that.
If i get the car i wouldnt have enough cash for a few months after.. maybe as much as 6-7months

I'd never move in with my mates as they are tramps Keep getting comments about being gay because i'd rather spend money in the flat than go out and get wrecked every night, and the place being clean and tidy.
If your parents are sound then stay at home. I get on better with mine now i'm not living there lol.
