I do use them a fair bit but not as much as I`d like to, still stay at home with my folks & they don`t appreciate the 4/4 beat late at night

I disagree..if ur a comptent beat matcher it shouldnt be much of a problem

My decks are about the same distance away to that

Unless of course you scratch...

for me itd be too far away, as i mix while beatmatching. my record is 5 tunes in 1minute

and scratching would be a problem also. But im guessing with that mixer, hes not too interested in that

At the moment I`m playing house, progressive-house & tech-house,

the 1210`s are on a shelf beneath the the top surface, I designed & built it myself, pretty simple really,

I can`t see why the decks would be too far away from the mixer, not for the style I play anyway,

I tend to use the CDJ1000`s more at the moment as I havn`t bought vinyl in ages.

Yeah it`s cost a fair bit, just over £3.5k in total,

I wouldn`t mind trying out the new Pioneer DJM800 & the CDJ1000 Mk3`s
