Not been in a 323; but have been in an E46 325i convertible and they really are nice; enough power, luxury and one sweet sound from the straight 6; if i had the money i would deff buy one

Its the model number, E46 is 1999 onwards virtually; E36 was the older shape etc...

Yeh was quite impressed; its not breath taking speed but you dont expect that unless u get the M3 really. Pulls all the way through the gears and has a what feels like a great deal of torque. Was in the cabriolet aswell with a Hard top on which would weigh quite a lot more than the coupe so would expect them to be a bit quicker

i drive them all day long and tbh there nothing special at all.just overpriced and always going wrong.325 has a very jerky feel to it unless it's a auto.if i really had to buy one though it would be the E46 330 diesel auto fast and economical

Ive never heard of any major problems with them!!

They are a nice smooth car, comfortable & a nice smooth power delivery - if you want something raw & rattly then get a caged up nova with a LET
