You'll get used to it, took me 45mins to put them in the first time. Dont really think about it now.
When your taking them out just sqeeze with your thumb and forefinger at 7 and 5 oclock(only way i can descibe where) on the lenses. It should just sorta pop out a bit and then squeeze more until you get a grip of the lens and pull out. Be gentle when your doing this mind!

when i take mine out i use my thumb and forefinger as said by rims, i find this better than on of the ways they were showing me, some drag downwards method. just squeeze and try to make sure you know for sure it came out, as i was trying to get out a contact lens that wasnt there ended up scratching my eye
i like it though i feel the time it takes (a few minutes) is worth it, but when you take them out you realise how blind you really are

Takes me about 30seconds to put mine in!
Just gotta place the rim of it onto your eye then let it absorbe the moisture in your eye and it will fall into place

i only use them on the weekend, easy putin em in, just make sure the are the right way round, and to take em out i just roll them down my eye and take em out, but it has taken me 1 hr to take em out when drunk, and even lost 1 in my eye for a hole 2 days!

As Karren says you actually have to push them onto your eye ball depending on the moisture content of the lens and then when you feel it sucking onto your eye look up. left and right and at most it should settle in 15-20 mines otherwse its inside out and you'll feel great discomfort.
on taking it out I would say the easiest way is to slide them out to the side using your index finger.
Also make sure you always wash your hands and use contact lens solution to clean and store the lenes in as its rediculous how many customers i come across who use water which contain bacteria which can ruin your eyes.
