I would ask if this job is as good as Daves, if not its clearly not the best job in the world that needs mentioning in every single post about jobs

Adam - is there no training that you need to keep a hand in? Get them to fund a bit of that.

All the other stuff as mentioned is pretty much standard, but I would be seeing where the job is taking you career-wise.

New company as in they've not been trading long or new company as in you're part of the launch?

The latter could be nice if it goes to plan...

bosses doughter is about 5.... less of that.

The company is about 2 months old... so just starting up.

Training - most of what i do is pretty specialised and can only really be done in house. Basic keep my fingers in it courses like SQL/Linux etc etc would be good.... but going by the job description i'm not sure they would really be a part of my role anymore. I'd be more client oriantated, giving presentations etc.... there as an adviser/consultant rather than worker kinda thing.

Its 180days holiday a year

My Q's to ask at the moment are...

How regular is the work? 5 weeks work, 5 weeks hols, or 8 weeks work 2 weeks hols 11 weeks work like i'm doing just now

Pay? its xxk for 180 days.... what happens if <180 or >180 etc. The pay is monthly based on my 180days.

Wage structure? Annual reviews?

Perks? I'd want laptop, phone, expenses card and decent pension plan and some sort of senior'ish job title

Job security: Client details, rates etc

How often am i expected to work in the office, if at all?

Contract? yearly, or indefinete

got offered it.... told them i'd have a thinkie

Pay is based on 180days, so salaried at set amount regardless if i'm working that month or not. Office is included in the 180days. Work beyond 180days is a daily rate of 270, office is 180 a day.

Phone, laptop, card, performance related bonuses, share options, pension
