i would disconnect it but i have just been reading a page from MIGweb and it seems a bit of a ball ache

http://www.migweb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=58309

im after a 4-2-1 that doesnt need the egr disconnecting , but im getting an inlet soon so wondering if warning lights are going to start flashin up then because of it unless its disabled . wouldnt it need to be present though to pass emissions on an mot .

Mine runs fine with a mantzel inlet and no egr, but not sure of whether it'd run better with or without, cant get rid of my engine managment light since fitting the manifold? probs the egr. hope this helps a little.

BTW it just recirculates exhaust gases to heat your engine quicker and lower emisions, "i think"

do you have to block it or disconnect it when adding an inlet then . i also thought you sometimes have to disable these with some manifolds

If your getting a mantzel or similar then you have to use the X16Xe low inlet so if you have a C16XE no EGR you have to block the port on the inlet.

If you have egr and you have X16XE you can only block you have to leave it connected for the ECU to stay happy

Lexmauls are only the higher manifold, shouldnt effect ur egr i dnt think, fits to the lwer manifold, so in theory shud be able to jus leave it alone
