I'm considering selling the C3 to free up some cash towards an apartment next year. The sooner i do it the better as it's loosing money. Paid £5800 for it a few months back and will be lucky to get £5200 for it now. BUT, i need another car to get me about quickly.
How much have you spent on you cars in repairs and how long have you had them? Probably looking at getting something like a 1.2 R Reg Corsa around £700 - £800.
It's just a thought as of yet, not sure if i want to do it.

Older car will undoubtedly cost more to maintain - however you wont have monthly payments, higher insurance or huge depreciation to worry about!!
Sell the citreon use the cash to make some positive equity in a house or flat, cars are dead cash!

If its a R reg 1.2 Corsa your looking at then it'll be an 8v. I had one before the Corsa I have now and I didn't spend a penny repairing it in the 2 years and 50,000+ miles that I had it. All I did was have it serviced and it ran spot on.
1.2 16v I have now has cost me a few hundred quid in sensors but other than that again all I've done is service it!

N plate 306.
1 set of brake pads, 2 track rod ends, 4 tyres. That's it. In 2 and a half years. Not bad for a 10 year old French car, eh?
Plus servicing, too.
