inspected front brakes and found the wire for abs has rubbed against the wheel and the wheel slowly burn through the abs cable.
is the cable connected at the wheel then at the part near where the brake line joins up, as this is part thats burnt, is it easy to replace and any1 no cost of these things???

not that bad to replace just dont snap the bolt plenty of wd40
even if its the 1 without the bolt i cant remember use plenty of wd40 and it unplugs from near the brake pipe

I have had the same problem with mine. I snapped the head of the bolt that secures it. Even with loads of WD40. I had to drill the bolt out and retap the thread. A new ABS sensor from main dealer is £90- £100. From Autovaux it is £67 + VAT. If you don't mind having a second hand one, a company called VPSC on 01255 670670 (advertise in Total Vauxall) can supply the part for approx. £20 plus postage.
