i thought about it, then realised it was pointless unless you want to rev to 8.k and beyond.

makes them stronger.

was going to do mine, but up to 8500rpm the standard jobbies are fine with arp bolts.

shot peening creates dimples on the surface meaning less friction when moving

also a flat piece of metal can be snapped easier than one that has dimples
