My driving test because i was too far away from the kerb on a reverse park...It was put down as a serious. I cant believe it as I had a really good drive. I had a mean examiner who never spoke a word (well apart from telling me directions) ..according to my instructor he nit picked.

If you were to far away then it would be serious, but yeah it is a bit harsh, little things like that people always fail on.
Better luck next time

Chin up, every dissapointment is for a reason...
Trick is what i learnt from is
1. never tell anyone your test date
2. practice loads before your test
3. do loads of mock tests with your instructor to
establish what area's your are weaker in.

you failed from doing that!
when i was doing my "turn in the road" i hit the curb twice and then on a junction mouted the curb. My emergency stop was shocking they said "If there was a person in front on you they would be dead"
i think they wer just nit picking.
but good luck on next test whenever it is

They guy looked like someone quite high up and all the rest of the examiners looked friendly. (mine was the miserable git in the corner) My instructer said that he looked like one of those that wants eveything so perfect, which i know driving has to be perfect but i wasnt dangerous. I dont have another lesson for a month so that just shows that my instructer must think i dont need to practise.

I got a major on my first test for not reversing up the road far enough while doing one of those left hand reverse thingies. However I did get 14 other minors, oh and another major for not driving fast enough
I passed with 3 minors the next time though

if you mount the curb at anytime during the test they are meant to end it and drive you back as your a danger to other road users and pedestrians.

that'll b £45 for another test then, for such a silly reason, unlucky mate. In my test i got my only 2 minors for not getting up to speed quick enough in a couple of places, which is fair enough, since i still passed, but BS really. I can understand how going too slow is a big hazard in traffic, but this was out on country roads. the whole things a shame imo, the examiner shud just kno from how confident u drive etc to determine if u shud pass. bk in the good old days wen my sis did hers she had a good drive then at the end had to park and buggered it up, but was kindly ask if she wanted to do it again, so did it again and passed. in a perfect world the examiner shud have asked u, but there u go, just hope u dont get them next time, now they already have an opinion of u. and its harder to break down a bad opinion then it is to build up a new good one.
