Ok im going to get some 40mm springs for my car will it rub on 17ns?? its a 1800 corsa c sri, also will it look low enough?

SRi is a pain as if you get the ideal offset the wheel will more than likely touch the brake caliper. Get one that will clear it (et42, 40 ish) then it will catch on a low drop
