my 1.2L 8v corsa b hasnt got one... and tht just sucks!
What are my options:
Fit a new dash with one in? (is this a big job..if not i think its the best idea)
Get an external rev counter?

i just dnt want to blow me little "go kart" engine up when trying to even reach the speed limits lol!

Wee bit extreme mate!!!!
What year is it?
Mine was a 1994, with no rev counter, I simply got meself a set of GSi ones from a Pre 97 Car (cable driven) and fitted them - seems pretty accurate - altho it redlines at bout 5,500 opposed to 7k!

If it's Post 97, simply get a set from a higher spec Post 97 Car - Electric Driven iirc

its a 1997 one!
so fitting one..would that mean doing some engine work..or do you just plug it in somewhere in the dash?

Get yeself a Haynes Max Power Manual - Ignore the chav shite tho! U just remove old ones and plug new ones in with a wire behind the dash. Being a 1997 tho, Im not sure which ones ul need - u may have to check with sum1 else - try HelpZone Its really not that hard tho tbh - me and a mate did mine - with no idea what we were doing when we started within 45 minutes

Yeh, but a set of GSi clocks or something will set him back £30 tops. I got mine off a blokey on here for bout £20 posted iirc And yes, cheers Broster - forgot to mention the wires already there!

I wouldn't mess about with aftermarket stick on stuff when you can do it factory fairly easily.

No - the dial setup with rev counter has smaller dials etc - I thought they were the same size until I did it myself - as I said thought, its easyish to do though, and looks far better!
