Can some one help me please. On my corsa c 1.2 sxi I have noticed when the care is running and it is in neutral if you push the clutch pedal up and down there is a knocking or taping sound. Is this normal the clutch does not slip our any think just this noise there is no noise when you move off just when in neutral.

no its coming from clutch if you push the clutch pedal then let it up you can hear a knock noise when the car is in neutral.

my corsa is a 02 but only done 9,000mils

My car does this, it not too loud, but noticeable.

To think of it, my metro did it, my saxo did it, my fiesta did it, my escort did it.

Never had a problem with it though. Got told by a guy it was because i kept my foot on the clutch at traffic lights.

well i was a women how had the car be for me i have only done 2,000 mils in it my self but some one toled me the corsa c has a prob with the gear lLinkage popping out our some think have you heard of this before is there a mod to stop it happening?
