Just got a couple of quotes on a 206 gti and the cheapest was around £1400
My renewal just before is sold the corsa was £980.... so what's going on?
To my knowledge the engine in my corsa was rated at around ins grp 16 and was in a lighter car than the original car it was meant for, plus it was modified.....
The 206 is rated ins grp 13-14 and is around a second slower to 60 plus all the safety gubbins etc.
Any ideas for any companies to try insurance. i want it under a grand!
I'm 20 with 2 years ncb
Any advice would be good

206 is newer and more desirable to theives. Also those 3 little letters are worth about £200 to any insurance company
