Mytyres are not cheap at all; got some Dunlop Sport 3000a tyres for £20 cheaper than mytyres - and fitted!

i'm seriously tempted by nankangs for my next set.
yeah shitty reputation and all, but the current batch have a wicked tread pattern and i've read a few really good reports for them.

they are better than the rest of the shite you find in that price range. I never skimp on tyres, one of the most important elements of a car in my opinion.

nankangs are a very poor quality tyre, they are used on aloy wheels that are not worthy of any other tyre,I know this because we have several sets at workfor a set of kumhos at work we sell them at 100.00 for 195 50 15good value for money

RE720''s are a much better tyre and they last

question was for good but cheap tyres and i think nankangs fit the bill.
the latest lot are suposedly quite good and anyone can get a set of 15's for a ton. not just people that work in the trade
never tried them or kumho's, but wouldn't dismiss them.

what we calling cheap?
£50 a tyre?
If so, for grip.....Yoko A539 or Toyo Proxes
For lastingness, nangkangs or Kumho's
For that sort of price your not going to get something that grips AND lasts well. I usually go for the good grippy stuff.

I admit they wernt bad in the dry, but with even the faintest bit of moistness got huge understeer and would spin up very easily. could probably have a lot to do with the suspension setup too. think it may just be 205/40s.

I use Toyo. Had both the T1-R and T1-S. Very good IMO. But I think i'm going to go back to the T1-R this time. The T1-S isn't nearly as good in the wet.
