Risotto's are quite tough to cook for somebody not experienced in the kitchen.
But depends whether your girlfriend can tell whether its a fuck up or not.

ok if you really want to impress her AND keep things simple, read on,,,

Starter
Oysters Kilpatrick
Set the Oysters on a bed of coarse salt, or an oven tray lined with foil
Sprinkle bacon over the oysters
Blend the worcestershire and tomato sauce, to create 'Kilpatrick' sauce
Top the oysters with a small amount of this sauce.

Grill until the bacon is cooked (5-10 minutes)

Main
Chicken Parmagiana
Take a Chicken Schnitzel (breadcrumbs) in a baking tray and cook till done, take out of oven and pour over a tomato-based pasta sauce, then sprinkle with heaps of parmasan cheese, put back in oven until cheese has melted and sauce is hot. serve with home cut and cooked thick cut chips/wedges and sour cream. also serve with a light green/rocket salad on side, or with vegetables like carrots or peas.
