Been offered a pretty good job up in the stock market but it will be working with / taking over my dads role.

Not sure it's a good or bad idea ?

Once im in control and he has gone ill be laughing but its getting through that barrier, learning, travelling into London with him everyday etc

They are long days but if I work hard the money can be exceptional (earn what you deal basically no annual fee)

Opinions ?

i would go for it. If its good money and you own the place after deffo go for it.

Where i work the boss's daughter and son works and they do ok

unless you have any thing at heart you want to do i think its a good idea, im young and not entirely experienced..... but i have an opinion

, my mate doesnt no whether he wants to work with his dad, because he doesnt like his dad so there are a few pros and cons you could look over.

I would disregard the fact your father works at the same place...if the jobs a good job then you would be crazy to turn it down...

The fact your father works there will probably work in your favour anyway as you will probably receive preferential treatment with promotions etc...

Thats exactly what i'm doing. All the little bonuses of my job are brilliant and I really enjoy what I do.

I get all my fuel paid for, little bonuses here and there, a pension etc I could go on.

If you think you will enjoy that line of work, go for it Greg.

Yea, but I would need to spend about 7 years at uni and then get a load more qualifications. Then get about 20-30 years experience. Er... I don't think it's going to happen

i dont see my dad alot as he has his own life now only see my mum.. But i have been offerd a job with my dad aswell and its a really good one and good pay..

dunno what to do

i worked with mine on several of his building sites... it was kinda like american chopper

but you get used to it...

but he works in Stores and I work in Finance, work with another 1,000 people so don't really see him much!
