Theres me going travelling along, next thing theres a dirty great saab in the middle of the road, so i swerve over on the grass but they are that far on my side they still catch my mirror!! Mirror smashes to bits.

So i stop, they dont! i turn round and follow them, flash my lights a few times but they wont pull over, so i call the police incident room for advise on what to do, by this time theyve just pulled into there house.

The police take all the details and give me a ref number and say for me to approach them. So i go into there house and tell them whats happened, and that the police have been informed and they ahve already comitted a crime by not stopping.

The old woman accuses me of being in the middle of the round her husband was pretty sound though, got there name and number and address etc and he wants to settle it with a cheque.

All i gotta do now is find out how much a new mirror plus spraying is!! bet its quite pricey!

He wants to settle it?

If there's any dispute go through your insurer.
