got some 17cm/16.5cm fornt speakers to fit there well below 64mm in depth, got some auto leads adapters aswell, but wasnt sure wether they'd let me fit them as when i put the speaker in them it doesnt sink down fully  ANy advice as how to fit them

why doesnt it sink down, is it hitting the door cut-out or the window?

no i haven't tryed them in the door yet but when i drop the speaker into the adapters just to see if they fit they dont their 17cm speakers so i thought they should?
Are all auto lead adapters compatible with 17cm speakers or do you have to buy specific ones?
I bought the only ones on sale.

thay should fit but may be a bit tight you may have to trim the adapters up with a dremel or stanly knife if not

When I used to have a Corsa I bought said adapters and they went OK into the doors, no trimming required!
As for fitting them, they are really easy to fit (and quite obvious how to fit them)... If you're not sure just ask a Halfords monkey or something!
